Key Lime iBook G3 Clamshell
The Key Lime iBook is the third of the three Fruit-colored Clamshells. This one is the most desired of them all. I got this from a Facebook Marketplace seller. I got this for $210 and had this shipped from Hoboken, New Jersey, on September 24, 2026, and I received it the next day on September 25, 2026. This Clamshell looks so good, I love the vibrant green. Originally, this Clamshell did not come with its optical drive cover. A few weeks later, my good friend, Ryan Lopez, told me he had a spare optical drive cover along with its three screws to keep it in place. I traded him a Macintosh 8600/200, an Apple Extended Keyboard II, an Apple Bus Mouse, and an Apple ADB to ADB cable, all of which I got from the Facebook Marketplace seller’s $700 lot that I got in Clifton, New Jersey, in September 2026, in exchange for the optical drive cover. We made the trade, I installed the cover with its three screws, and the laptop now has every piece to it.
