Strawberry Slot-Loading iMac G3
The bright, bubble-gum-pink-colored Strawberry iMac G3. This iMac G3 was another Facebook Marketplace find. The seller resides in Roseland, New Jersey, and had this iMac G3, along with its matching colored keyboard and a Graphite hockey puck mouse for sale. I picked this up for $100 the day before Mother’s Day on May 11th, in 2024. I later bought the matching hockey puck mouse color off of eBay to complete the set. When I got this the seller told me the hard drive was removed, which means the internals were taken apart and one screw was missing, one of the six screws that hold the metal casing down was lost. I had some spares of that exact screw from when I took parts from the Lime Slot-Loading iMac G3 that I had before I sold it for parts, so I replaced the missing screw, and all are now accounted for. This did not come with its original 10GB hard drive, but luckily I had a spare lying around that I had previously ordered off of eBay, it was 10GB, just as what the iMac came with, so I installed it, and it works like a charm.
